It's Monday 16th of February 2015, 11am, am out and about with the crew location scouting. We planned out our journey the night before so we knew what we were aiming to achieve. First stop was to the Morden Library. We had slight issues with that because the head office of that library couldn't allow us to record there without, having to wait a week or two until we can get the permit for that. For that reason we switched it to the school library which we had got permission for a lot after the travelling about. Second stop was to the Morden tube station which was a total disaster, as the head office there wouldn't even pick up the phone. Leaving us no chance of having access, we headed off to an hotel to for our actress to have her own personalized room. That too failed as it was rather expensive and they had no desk in the rooms which is inconvenient for our film. Having to get off a bus to get on another like 10 times, I decided that an Art room would be best for our character.
Day 2:
It's Tuesday 17th of February 2015, 11am, am sorting out everyone in the production and everything that of needed to be recorded. Our first destination of recording was the school library. I gathered all the props included: Manga books, Drawing books, Diary, Pencil Case, Colourings, Pencils, Pen and placed them on the desk. I explained to our actress exactly what she needed to do. My group were not inputting enough as at points they would constantly mess about. It made perfected the scenes difficult and by all means impossible. I had in mind of lots of match on actions but various of the footage taken in the library do not contain that though, after looking at it it's workable.
After recording about 30 shots in the library we then went to the Art room to record the last scenes of the day. We had a time limit on how long we could use the camera for every day that a specific technician was in. We got everything set up in the Art room to record the paint scenes. We took some really nice shots in the Art room that I am pleased with. More pleased with than the Library shots. The painting that was done is fantastic too.
