Preliminary Task

My group and I correctly used match on action. This is shown in the scene where the girl puts down her folder on the table. As soon as she puts the folder down on the table there is a match on action shown of the folder on the table, and the girl opening it. My group and I also correctly used the 180 degrees rule. This is shown in the scene where the call of death is having a rap battle with the girl as we used the over the shoulders shot to identify the 180 degrees rule. Our top shot is the close up of the girl as she turned around covering half of her face with her scarf.

From perspective I was pleased with teamwork. Everyone that was taking part in our preliminary task had real fun, and the actors played their role not too bad considering they only had a short amount of time to learn script. Personally I found the conventions of 'Horror' and 'Comedy' brilliant. It fitted well with the chosen preliminary task.

There were a lot of silly mistakes that we made as a group. Mainly, the lack of focus and keeping everything in perspective. There were far too many immauture people that kept messing about which convicted of unnecessasry accusation. However, adventually we got by and recorded majority of our chosen shots from our storyboard.

Mistakes that I personally made was getting specific actors requested by other actors I got to become star of the preliminary task, whome behaved so ridiculously poor. A certain actor in particular wouldn't act without having the request accepted.

I directed the stars, while my partner recorded the footage. After that we seperately edited different versions to see which one we preferred more at conclusion. We was very well organised with equipment, and didn't lack in any of the departments other than controlling the environment and keeping the actors in perspective.

Problems that we faced were the amount of random people that kept intercepting in our work, not giving us the chance to record silently without any interuruption. Crucially this was a major problem because it meant that they were restricting us to get our recordings done properly, and at a exepectional level. That was the only issue that we interacted which caused chaos.
