Audience Profile

This is just an example of what we picture our target audience to be.

My group and I used Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to explore what ethnicity, age, region, nationality
and socio - economic group we are producing this opening trailer for. By using this we got a better understanding of what were aiming to achieve. 

We explored the different socio-economic groups from the traditional segmentation model which conveys social status, occupations and then gives that a social grade. This allowed me and my group to zoom in even more to now find out what person we want as our primary target audience. By using this traditional segmentation model we found that were aiming for a C1 + but baring in mind that this model is being very specific and it is not one that's used world-wide. Whereas Young & Rubicam's 4C's model is. 

We then looked at the Young & Rubicam's 4C'S model to find out the personality of the target audience we want. Those who want to succeed, mainstream and those who struggle in life were the ones that our trailer will most likely attract.
