FADE IN:

SUPER TITLES playing throughout the opening scene.

1.       INT. JENNA LIN’S HOUSE – MORNING/DAY

VOICEOVER begins.

OUT OF FOCUS wide shot of Jenna’s room. We can see a figure sitting next to the window.  DEPTH OF FIELD SHOT brings Jenna into focus, she is scribbling in a diary.

Cut to an over the shoulder shot; her hair is open falling down on one shoulder, we can see edge of diary she is writing in.

EYE-LEVEL CLOSE UP shot, with her writing into her Diary, matching with the voiceover.

She stops writing and starts to think. Close up shot of her smiling and looking out of the window.

CRAB SHOT from inside bag on bed. Jenna stands up from desk and moves towards bed to put her book in the bag. (Transition)

2.       EXT. TUBE STATION – MORNING/DAY

POV shot of Morden tube station.  We can see the transport for London logo.

Cut to a SIDE SHOT of Jenna topping up. We can see her putting money in oyster card.

TILT DOWNWARDS of Jenna on escalator. Shows Jenna standing on escalator , she is going downwards.

CLOSE UP shot of Jenna’s face looking to the right/left, waiting for tube to arrive.

MID SHOT of Jenna walking into the tube, and then doors closing (EYE LEVEL SHOT)

3.       INT. MORDEN LIBRARY – MORNING/DAY

Scene opens with Elevator doors opening, which would be a transition from previous scene. Jenna steps out of the elevator. WIDE SHOT of the Library shown, with Jenna walking.  Presented so that the audience knows what the location is.

SIDE SHOT of Jenna taking out a book from a shelf. Camera is PANNING and then fades into the wall/piller. Transition happens Shot shown of Jenna on the floor reading a book. Again the shot fades into an object or the wall. Transition from the wall to a POV shot of her reading the book.

She closes the Book, fades into Black and the title ‘Unrequited Love’ appears.

Music stops

POV shot with the diary closing and the title appearing; ‘UNREQUITED LOVE’.
